Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts to everyone who had a lockdown birthday

IF you celebrated a birthday in lockdown then you can get a free Krispy Kreme doughnut.

An estimated 22 million people got a year older during lockdown, which the doughnut giant says started on March 23 and ended when pubs opened on July 4.

If you were born between those dates (23 March to July 3) then you can visit a Krispy Kreme shop, show some ID and get an original glazed doughnut.

There is a catch, you do need to buy something to get the offer – and you must spend a minimum of £1.55 and you have between now and July 19 to claim.

To find your nearest store visit the Krispy Kreme website.

It's not the first time that Krispy Kreme has given away doughnuts.
