There is no doubt that Kim Kardashian is queen of the body-con.

The bootylicious babe is rarely seen on or off the red carpet in anything but a clingy number, so it came as no surprise that Kim launched a lingerie foundation line that was all about sculpting and shaping.

The collection focuses on the basics to literally skim and smooth your curves for under those all important looks.

From high waisted knickers to thigh shaping shorts and all in one smoothers, according to SKIMS’ insta stories, the brand has racked up a host of celebrity fans including Rebel Wilson, Glenn Close and Saoirse Ronan.

This week is the brand’s six month anniversary and to celebrate Kim planned to restock her original styles that disrupted the shape wear market in 9 tonal shades and sizes XXS to 5X.

But of course celebrations were some what dampened by the current Covid-19 situation.

Instead Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to let fans know that SKIMS would be donating $1million from sales of the line to help mother’s and children through the global pandemic.

Posting to her 164 million followers, Kim announced: “To support Mothers and Children in need during this time, I’m proud to announce @SKIMS is committed to donating $1M to families affected by COVID-19.”

She finished up by telling fans about newly available product: “On Monday, we will restock the collection we first launched with, and in doing so, be able to help bring relief to those affected by this pandemic. Shop the Solutionwear restock on March 30 at 9AM PST / 12PM EST.”

But while donating $1 million from SKIMS will of course be gratefully received by recipients during this difficult time, fans were divided as to whether the star was really doing enough.

Some fans praised the star with one follower saying "Kim your energy is everything right now!!!!"

But other’s felt that Kim should have donated from her personal fortune like sister Kylie Jenner who donated $1 million to help medical staff in the US with protective equipment.

Instead some fans were annoyed that Kim was trying to sell product in order to donate, as well as many reminding the mega star that shape wear was the last thing on most people’s mind as most people are in isolation.

But if you want to jump on the SKIMS shape wear revolution and contribute to Kim’s donation.
