Kate Middleton’s ‘imperfect teeth’ always in demand – unlike Meghan’s ‘more American’ look

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are two of the most famous women in Britain.

Their royal romances have brought them international fame and much scrutiny.

A dentist has revealed to Express.co.uk which woman’s smile is most requested by customers, and whether the pair have ever had cosmetic dentistry.

Matthew Rose Restorative Dentist The Implant Centre Hove & Hayward’s Heath revealed Kate’s are imperfect, though attractive.

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle news: Duchess of Cambridge ‘imperfect teeth’ always in demand

He said: “Kate Middleton’s teeth are what we would call practically imperfect, perfect teeth.

“They are straight but not perfectly aligned, they are a good size and shape although the proportion of length to width looks slightly out.”

Matthew suggested it appears likely Kate has has some whitening treatments, but a conservative amount.

He said: “The subtle whitening that she has is just the right amount for the ever so slightly whiter end of naturally white looking teeth. So not perfect but a very aesthetically pleasing smile.”

Images from 2005 show Kate’s teeth have hardly changed, although they may be a little whiter.

Meghan Markle, on the other hand, has a whiter smile, the dental expert claims.

Pictures of Meghan Markle’s school yearbook shows the Duchess of Sussex once had a gap in her front teeth, which she had from a young age. Like many teenagers, it is likely Meghan had orthodontia in her youth to correct this.

Matt said: “We have seen some requests for the Meghan Markle smile which is whiter, more American and stand out but far less natural looking than Kate’s.

“Meghan’s teeth look a little unnatural, she has possibly recently had orthodontics (brace) and lots of of bleaching.

“Sometimes in post ortho cases teeth can look at little ‘splayed’ and along with the rounded incisal edges that she has, they just don’t look as natural as Kate’s. Kate’s smile is more likely to be the one that will always be in demand.”

Dr Victoria Veytsman told the Daily Beast how clients have been asking her for Meghan Markle’s smile since her wedding to Prince Harry.

However, another warned the publication the look isn’t easy to achieve on everyone. Dr Jebreil said: “So many people just want this broad, ‘Meghan Markle’ smile full of teeth, but if they have a small mouth and big teeth, you physically can’t get that because of the size and shape of what you have.”

Has Meghan Markle had any other cosmetic surgery?

Dr Dan Marsh a plastic surgeon at The Plastic Surgery Group told Express.co.uk: “She’s certainly grown into her looks which have been helped by a pearly white set of veneers.”

Besides her dental work, however, experts seem convinced Meghan’s beauty is all-natural.

Dr. Ifeoma Ejikeme, Consultant Physician at UCLH and Medical Director of Adonia Medical Clinic, said: “Looking at her teenage pictures and now there are no obvious enhancements. Beautiful then and beautiful now.”

How did Kate Middleton become a royal?

Early life

Kate Middleton, or Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was born on 9 January 1982 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, England.

She was born to Michael and Carole Middleton, a former flight dispatcher and air hostess. The couple founded a party supplies company, Party Pieces, in 1987 – now estimated to be worth £30 million.

Kate has a younger sister Pippa Matthews, 34, and a younger brother James Middleton, 31.

Kate and her family moved to Amman, Jordan, in 1984, where the future Duchess was educated at an English-speaking nursery school.

After moving back to Berkshire the family sent Kate to private school, St Andrews School. She went on to briefly study at Downe House before moving onto Marlborough College where she boarded.

For university the young Kate attended the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Here she was awarded an undergraduate MA (2:1 Hons) in history of art.

Relationship with Prince William

Kate met Prince William when they were both studying at St Andrews, and both living in St Salvator’s Hall. Famously, William reportedly took a fancy to Kate after she wore a see-through dress during a fashion show.

In 2003 the couple began dating and lived together during their second year of university.

The couple split in April 2007, however, in October they were back together.

Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton with his late mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring in October 2010. The couple were holidaying in Kenya at the time.

On 29 April 2011 they married at Westminster Abbey with a whopping 26 million watching the event live.

Kate wore an Alexander McQueen dress worth a reported £250,000 on the big day.

Kate assumed the title “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge” and also become the Duchess of Cambridge on the day.
