Kate Middleton stuns in floral Erdem dress as she proudly shows The Queen her garden at Chelsea Flower Show

Kate Middleton and husband Prince William walked around the garden that the Duchess of Cambridge designed at The Chelsea Flower Show with the Queen.

The mum-of-three designed the Back to Nature Garden for Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show to encourage children to spend more time outside; advocating the advantage the outdoors has on mental health, and the positive impacts of nature and the outside on children's development.

The Queen, 93, wore a bright lime green and purple dress by Stewart Parvin, as Kate pointed out features of the garden to her.

Kate also dazzled in a floral Erdem dress, which she paired with wedges and wore her brunette hair down with a pretty braid.

The 37 year old changed into the stylish dress from her more casual ensemble earlier in the day, which comprised of culottes, a white top and trainers.

Other royals also in attendance at the flower show were Princess Beatrice and Sophie, Countess of Wessex

It comes after Kate and William shared a number of intimate family photos from the Chelsea Flower Show.

The Duchess of Cambridge designed her very own woodland wilderness garden and her children Prince George , Princess Charlotte , and Prince Louis , got their own sneak preview.

In one photo, the royal couple's youngest child Prince Louis can be seen taking his first steps on camera, while doting dad William looks on proudly in the background.

In another, siblings George and Charlotte can be seen dipping their bare feet into a stream before they were photoed playing on the rope string.

Alongside the sweet family photos on Kensington Palace's Instagram account, they wrote: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share some new photographs of their family as they visited the RHS Back to Nature Garden at the #ChelseaFlowerShowon Sunday afternoon. The photographs were taken by @mattporteous.

"The #RHSChelsea Back to Nature Garden, designed by The Duchess and award-winning landscape architects Andrée Davies and Adam White of Davies White Landscape Architects, is a woodland setting for families and communities to come together and connect with nature."

It continued: "Her Royal Highness is a strong advocate for the proven benefits the outdoors has on physical and mental health, and the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development in particular.

"Over the past months, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have helped The Duchess gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate @The_RHSBack to Nature Garden.

"Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den.

"The Duchess told Monty Don in an interview for the BBC: 'I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children. I really hope that this woodland that we have created really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.'"
