Kanye West is trademarking his ‘Sunday Service’ church merch

Kanye West is adding a new facet to his fashion empire.

The rapper, 42, filed a trademark application on July 19 with the US Patent and Trademark Office seeking to register the phrase “Sunday Service” for bottoms, dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks and tops.

The “I Love It” musician previously sold merchandise under this moniker during his performance at Coachella on Easter Sunday, offering religion-themed slogan hoodies ranging from $165 and $225 and socks emblazoned with the phrases “Church Socks” and “Jesus Walks” for $50.

The application was filed by Mascotte Holdings, Inc., the same company that previously filed trademarks for Yandhi, Yeezus, Yeezy, Calabasas Clothing and Kanye West, amongst many others, on the Grammy winner’s behalf.

Interestingly, the company also submitted multiple filings in April of this year under the name “Half Beast,” seeking trademarks for an array of entertainment services across mediums, downloadable versions of all those various services and a wide assortment of related toys.

Sounds like Ye could be gearing up to become the new Netflix in the very near future.
