Inside Scarlett Moffatt’s incredible under the stairs champagne cellar as she reveals it ‘makes her want to cry’

Scarlett Moffatt has given a glimpse of the latest addition to her plush new home.

The Gogglebox breakout star, 30, who recently gave a full house tour, unveiled her glamorous wine and champagne cellar underneath her stairs at the home she has affectionately named, The Bonnie Barn.

Scarlett described how the feature was on the “list of things that [she] wanted” as she has set to work transforming the four-bedroom pad with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson.

The brunette beauty took to her Instagram story to share the amazing new interior addition with her 118,000 followers.

The reality star enlisted the help of Broomside Design for the feature and used Pinterest to collaborate three different ideas.

She said: “This is something that I have always thought is super cool. I did actually ask everyone’s opinion on what I should do with this space in the house.

"This was on my list of things that I wanted. Now, it is not quite a wine or champagne cellar but it brings me so much joy.

“It is not completely finished yet it still needs the trims and stuff. But I am going to show you!”

Scarlett filmed the hallway of their home which features a grand oak staircase and door leading into the open-plan kitchen and dining area.

She said: “Okay nothing to see here, just a hall. BAM! Under the stairs champers cellar!

“I am so, I can’t even, it literally, makes me want to cry. It smells like wood, obviously because it is made of wood, but even that gets me!”

Taking a look at the gorgeous cellar, we can see oak shelving has been fitted to create the perfect space to store bottles with built-in lighting to cast a warm glow over the labels.

The doors are fitted with glass to create the illusion of extra space and to show guests the enviable selection of bubbly.

Scarlett has even hung her champagne glasses between the bottles and placed her finest bottles on the floor to create a gorgeous feature.

Stepping into the space, Scarlett said: “I am putting wine under here because, I mean, if I had to keep filling in with champers. Look at this!

“And I can step into it and it just brings me so much joy! And it is like floating but it is actually floating!

However, Scarlett revealed that she did not want to appear boastful while showing off the latest addition to her home.

She said: “I just started crying again! I don’t want to ever look like I am bragging but whenever I do these polls on here you always say you want to see stuff and that’s why I post certain stuff on this account and not my main account.

“I just love interior and I just love sharing stuff with you. That today is the fanciest thing.”

Scarlett admitted she could not “believe” that she owned the gorgeous feature, adding: “That is goals! I don’t know where I go from here, I can’t believe that I own that underneath my stairs. It is insane."
