Patsy Palmer first shot to fame in 1993 when she was cast in the role of Bianca Jackson on BBC’s EastEnders.

Her on-screen marriage to Ricky Butcher, played by Sid Owen, launched her into fame and she quickly became a household name as one of the soap’s most iconic characters.

After leaving the series in 2014, she returned to the role again in 2019, before leaving again. It was then announced in February 2020 that she would be reprising the role of Bianca once again.

Patsy, 47, left the UK and moved to a much sunnier climate of California and set up home in Malibu with her children and often shares glimpses of her life on social media.

Where is Patsy Palmer now?

In April 2014, the actress revealed she and most of her family moved to Malibu, California.

Since then she made friends with the likes of Hollywood stars Camille Grammer and Cindy Crawford.

Speaking of her new life stateside, Patsy said: “We just wanted to try something new, we have a pretty normal life in an extraordinary place.”

Does Patsy Palmer have children?

Patsy is a proud mother to Charley, 27, Fenton, 19, Emilia, 18, and Bertie, eight.

Charley was born in 1992 and is now an actor, having appeared in Our Girl, Dunkirk and Darkest Hour.

Fenton and Emilia are also just as talented, with Patsy’s daughter becoming a model signed to Storm LA and her son also modelling both in LA and the UK.

Fenton is rumoured to have dated supermodel Kaia Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford, with Patsy previously sharing a photo of herself and Cindy on social media.

Is Patsy Palmer married?

Patsy has been married twice; once to film director Nick Love and again to Richard Merkell, who she has been with for 19 years.

Patsy and Richard renewed their vows in the Caribbean 12 years after first tying the knot at Chelsea Register Office while they were registering Fenton’s birth.
