Coronation Street star Colson Smith plays Craig Tinker on the hit ITV soap, captured the nation’s heart with his character’s cheeky persona.

But when he is not starring as the comedic policeman, the 21 year old returns from a long day’s filming on the cobbles to his cosy Manchester home.

And during the lockdown the strawberry blonde star has afforded us many a peek inside.

Colson's bedroom, where he also records his podcast Sofa Cinema Club, is very sleek with a large brown glossy wardrobe, grey flecked carpet and a black Ikea chest of drawers.

The double bed has a brown headboard that matches the cupboard and on the bed are bold Union Jack bedsheets, that give the space a Cool Britannia-style feel and make up for the distinct lack of artwork on the light grey walls.

In this space, which is a common location for Colson to take a selfie, we can see that the star has light wooden floor that matches the door, as well as a floor-to-ceiling mirror.

Behind the mirror is cupboard space, as we can see from the handles; this is a great way to put in storage without making the space look smaller.

As we can see from these snaps of the star's living room, the walls are painted a light green colour.

This is such a subtle shade that it ads warmth to the room in the most subtle way.

In the room is also a wooden glass-fronted cabinet that is complete with the most ornate wood carving.

On top of the cabinet is a wide selection of potted plants, giving the space an organic feel.

Colson is becoming somewhat of a fitness fanatic, having lost an impressive amount of weight in recent months.

In this snap, we can see the star outside in his yard, which has a wooden fence and concrete paving stones.

When he shared this pic back in June, he captioned it: “Bank Holiday run done.Feet up & some family time while staying at home now! Have a good un folks.” [sic]

Many were shocked at how much trimmer her looked.

His co-star Brooke Vincent, who plays Sophie Webster, wrote: “CRAIG TINKERS GONNA HAVE GROUPEES VERY SOON.”

Andy Whyment, who appeared on the latest series of I’m A Celeb, wrote: “Looking absolutely mega pal well done.”

Colson previously revealed he lost one and a half stone in December after he got food poisoning while on holiday in Thailand.

Speaking on his podcast, Sofa Cinema Club, which he hosts with co-stars Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price, Colson said: “I was in Ko Lanta.

“I was sat on the beach and the waiter came over and was like, "What would you like?" And I said, "I'll have the prawns to start please."

"I had avoided seafood but I was sat on the beach and I was like, 'How can you not have seafood on the beach?'

"Well, anyway. I'm not doing that again. I've lost about a stone and a half.”
