SUPERMARKET chain Iceland is helping customers have a cheeky weekend with a Nando's-style meal deal.

Shoppers can build their own bundle online to create their perfect dinner – and it can cost as little as £5.

If you choose the cheapest option, Butcher's Market Class 'A' Chicken Wings with Skin On, either the classic Peri-Peri Bag & Bake or the milder Lemon & Herb flavour and finish with mini corn cobs and french fries, you'll find yourself only parting with a fiver for your meal.

And the Peri-Peri Bag & Bake and the milder Lemon & Herb flavouring are both Nando's own-brand.

By picking up the £5 meal deal, your dinner will cost you £13.40 less than a similar set up at a Nando's restaurant.

The offer is online only though and not available in store.

Once you're on Iceland's 'Build a cheeky Nando's web page', you will be instructed to choose your chicken at Step One.

You can pick from drumsticks, wings, breast fillets, thighs and even a whole small bird with each item costing between £2 and £3.

Step Two is where it gets saucy as you can pick your Nando's flavour – these are all Nando's own-brand and cost between £1 and £3.50.

Get your sides sorted in the final step, with a selection of fries, garlic bread and corn on the cob, which costs between £1 and £2.50.

You can also add a drink or dessert, including Coca-Cola and Ben & Jerry's, costing from £1.90 to £4.20.
