I cannot listen to my boyfriend crunching on an apple, it is causing arguments

DEAR DEIDRE: MY boyfriend eats so loudly it infuriates me.

I struggle to watch TV when he is chomping and slurping his drinks.

But the worst is in the morning when he gives me a lift to work – he’s taken to crunching on an apple. I’m 24 and he’s 26.

It sounds ridiculous but we argue over it.

He insists no one has commented before, but I’m convinced he is louder than anyone else.

Many find caffeine and alcohol make the condition worse – so try cutting back on the two.

Can you maybe ask your boyfriend to save his apple until after he has dropped you off?
