How the NBA WAGs are doing outside the Disney bubble

07/21/2020

The NBA’s version of summer camp has officially begun at the Disney bubble.

Earlier this month, 22 teams arrived at Disney World in Florida, where they’ll be residing for the next few months to continue the 2019-20 NBA season, which was halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Though the food and the accommodations have been mocked on social media — not to mention the “snitch hotline” for rule-breakers — some players have made the most of the current situation, finding ways to pass the time without their loved ones.

With family and friends prohibited from entering the bubble until the second round of the playoffs, the wives and girlfriends of some NBA athletes are soaking up the moments outside of the closed campus.

With Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma back to practicing with teammate LeBron James, lady love Winnie Harlow kept busy Saturday by raiding his closet.

Taking to Instagram, the 25-year-old model — who was first linked to 24-year-old Kuzma in May — posted a pair of photos wearing comfy clothes, tagging Kuzma’s handle on her sweatshirt.

“Raided his closet,” Harlow captioned the shots, to which Kuzma replied, “You elite.”

While Harlow has also participated in solo photoshoots, her favorite might have been in June, when she and Kuzma hit the beach together.

Anamaria Goltes, Luka Doncic's girlfriend

As Luka Doncic’s bromance with Dallas Mavericks teammate Kristaps Porzingis continues to flourish in the bubble, girlfriend Anamaria Goltes has found comfort in her furry friends.

On Saturday, Goltes shared a series of photos cuddling with dogs Hugo and Gia, calling them her “babies” on Instagram.

“I haven’t given birth to a baby before, but I have babies ❤️?? @hugo__gia #dogsofinstagram,” she said.

Goltes, who has dated 21-year-old Doncic for four years, gave fans a peek at their quarantine back in March, opening up about how she and the NBA All-Star first met.

“I answered this question like a million times. We met when we were 12 years old at the seaside in Croatia,” Goltes explained at the time, adding, “Fun fact: We still have the same group of friends we had at that time. You keep the real ones, am I right?”

While Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George fishes the time away at the Happiest Place on Earth, gal pal Daniela Rajic is soaking up the sun poolside.

Over the weekend, Rajic — who shares two daughters with 30-year-old George — posted a sultry snap on Instagram modeling a plunging swimsuit from her Nude Swim line. Days prior, she posted a “quarantine clean” photoshoot from home.

“Found some good lighting ✨ hiking has kept me sane during quarantine, hbu?” Rajic shared on social media earlier this month.

Before George headed to the bubble, he celebrated his 30th birthday with Rajic in May.

“HAPPY 30th birthday to my better half! ? I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished thus far,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I love seeing you live out your dreams and still be the best partner and father to our children. You inspire me everyday!!”

The forecast calls for rosé all day for Russell Westbrook’s wife Nina Earl.

On Sunday, the former UCLA basketball star, 31, posted poolside photos as she and a pal readied to open a bottle of Whispering Angel wine.

“I love the sun,” Earl captioned the shots on Instagram.

Married since 2015, the Westbrooks recently dealt with a health crisis as the Houston Rockets point guard, 31, tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

“I tested positive for Covid-19 prior to my team’s departure to Orlando,” Westbrook tweeted last week. “I’m currently feeling well, quarantined, and looking forward to rejoining my teammates when I am cleared. Thank you all for the well wishes and continued support. Please take this virus seriously.”

Westbrook rejoined his team on Monday.

All eyes may be on “skinny” Carmelo Anthony in the NBA bubble, but it’s La La Anthony’s fresh manicure that has Instagram’s attention.

Last week, the 39-year-old “Power” actress showed off her colorful nails following four manicure-free months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“First time I got my nails done in 4 months‼️‼️????thanks @quaynaildit this design is ☁️☁️☁️?we miss you @chaunlegend,” La La captioned the post.

In April, La La spoke to Page Six about her quarantine with husband Carmelo, 36, a forward on the Portland Trailblazers.

“I left New York because it was getting a little too hectic quarantining in my small apartment with my nieces, cousins and the rest of my family, so we came out and rented a house in LA,” she said at the time.

La La and Carmelo have been married since 2010.
