Homeless man is transformed with haircut after barber notices him outside shop

A kind-hearted barber has been praised online for giving a homeless man a haircut which left him walking away looking completely different.

The hairdresser, who goes by the name @skinny_pinny on TikTok, explained in a video posted this week that the man had been “admiring” his barber shop in Scottsdale, Arizona, US.

The footage shows his lucky customer walking into the shop with long disheveled hair that clearly has not been touched for some time.

Behind the camera, the barber manages to convince him to get a chop and the clip then cuts to him going to work.

As he works on the hair, the pair have a laugh together and, when it is all done, the man is clearly overjoyed by the results.

With a huge grin across his face, he declares: “Badass haircut.”

The barber’s video has been seen more than 700,000 times since being shared on Tuesday (December 8) with the caption: “It feels so good to help the less fortunate.”

And hundreds of people flocked to the comments section to praise him for the kind gesture.

“Do you realize how fantastic you made that man feel?” one asked. “God bless you.”

Another wrote: “That smile on his face said it all. He felt like a million bucks.”

A third commented: “We need more people like you in this world.”

While a fourth said: “He will probably remember this for the rest of his life. The little things to us can mean so very much to someone else.”

It comes after another homeless man was “transformed into a model” after getting an equally impressive makeover.

In the heartwarming clip, he revealed he had grown addicted to meth. But the hairdresser promised to take him to meetings to deal with his addiction.

The video received more than 17 million views since being shared to TikTok with the caption: "From being homeless to a model in 1 minute."
