Home Bargains selling £3 Christmas Eve box filled with Santa’s letter and treats

Christmas is right around the corner, and savvy parents will be looking at ways to kick-start the festive season for less.

Supermarkets have been slashing the prices of festive chocolate tubs, as well as running huge toy sales to help mums and dads get more for less while stocking up on Christmas presents this year.

And now Home Bargains has delighted parents with the launch of a special Christmas Eve box.

The gorgeous boxes for kids are sure to make the night before Christmas feel magical for little ones.

Home Bargains has set the price at just £2.99 and for that you get a Christmas story book, a letter from Santa, a door hook, stickers and cookies.

The Christmas Eve boxes were shared on the money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains where the post garnered a huge response.

Sharing her purchase, one woman wrote: "Christmas Eve boxes in Home Bargains £2.99!

"Contains Christmas story book, letter from Santa, door hook, stickers and cookies!

"Think it’s a fab price."

The post has since racked up over 4,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments from very impressed parents.

One wrote: "I best get down there!"

Another added: "Lovely idea for the kids."

While a third wrote: "Definitely need to get this."

Other savvy mums revealed they were going to go DIY on their Christmas Eve boxes.

One Facebook user revealed the box was big enough to add plenty of extras to make the boxes feel more personalised.

She explained: "I've added a mason glass and hot choc reindeer cone (from Home Bargains too) and would still fit a bit more in."

Others revealed they were adding a pair of Christmas Eve pyjamas into theirs, which is a bit of a festive tradition in the UK.

"The boxes are a decent size too for pjs and other bits if you wanted to add in," wrote on woman.
