Model Hilary Rhoda and former NHL player Sean Avery have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old model shared the news on Instagram, announcing that Nash Hollis Avery was born at 12:04 a.m.

“Our boy came into this world fast & furiously! ?,” she captioned the snap of herself holding the newborn.

Rhoda also posted a before and after pic of herself at the hospital. In the first one, she serenely snapped a mask selfie, while in the after photo, she’s displaying a peace sign with an empty Cheez-It packet on her chest.

In January, Rhoda announced they were expecting a baby boy, but added the road to pregnancy wasn’t easy for them.

“The last year has been quite a journey getting to this point, lots of ups & downs … but for those trying to conceive, all I can say is just keep going,” Rhoda said in an Instagram Story at the time (via People). “Trying to conceive is a mindf..k and might have almost ended our marriage once or twice.”

Avery, 40, revealed his podcast, “No Gruffs Given,” around the same time that Rhoda had suffered two miscarriages before she was pregnant with Nash.

The couple tied the knot in 2015, but their union has been marred by familial drama since day one.

Rhoda and her mother, Marianne, have been battling a legal despute since 2014 after Rhoda sued her mom, alleging she stole six figures. Avery was eventually slapped with a restraining order from his mother-in-law for harassment.

Avery, meanwhile, has been in the news for everything from allegedly hitting a car with his scooter to getting in a Twitter war with a homeless advocate over his running gag of asking homeless people for the time.
