Hello, We Made a Cosmo Tarot Deck and It's Officially Here

Does anyone else start their day by drawing a tarot card? Mine today is the Seven of Cups, telling me that I have sooo many opportunities ahead of me…according to The Cosmo Tarot: The Ultimate Deck and Guidebook because hello, we made one and it is out today!

As you might know, tarot cards can be used for so many things, from predicting your future, to being part of your self-care practice, to helping you understand your zodiac sign. They’re even sometimes used in therapy! Personally, I like to use tarot cards to provide a prompt for a lil self reflection each morning, during special occasions like a New Moon, or whenever I could use some advice. Like, when the Seven of Cups tells me I have opportunities ahead of me, what kind of opportunities am I hoping for, and where am I looking for them???

TBH, I own so many tarot decks they can no longer fit on one shelf, but ours is my very favorite (and not just bc at $22, it’s a total steal). And whether this is your first tarot deck or your twentieth, you’re gonna love it, too. Here’s why:

The art

Hi, do you see this??? I am so obsessed with this gorgeous, colorful, collage-style art that I wish I could wallpaper my apartment with it. Designed by our own associate digital art director Katie Buckleitner, every card is so beautiful that I am *never* disappointed with the card that I draw, even when it’s Death (which, FYI, is really not a bad card!).

The guidebook

Written by tarot pro and Cosmo contributor Sarah Potter, The Cosmo Tarot guidebook gives you easy-to-understand meanings for each card, both upright and reversed. For example, that Death card does *not* mean you are going to die, it just means that a phase or situation in your life is ending—maybe because you’re getting a new job, moving to a new home, or something else exciting! The guidebook also has plenty of tips on getting to know the tarot cards and instructions for simple spreads (that’s when you draw a specific number of tarot cards in a certain pattern, FYI).
