‘Greasy hair queen’ doesn’t wash tresses for 8 days – despite cruel trolls

A self-titled 'greasy hair queen' shared that she doesn't wash her tresses for 8 days – despite trolls calling her 'flaky'.

Ellie Pembs has gone viral on TikTok for not washing her hair, she's even racked up 66,000 followers for doing so.

The beauty is not on some water and shampoo ban but is actually wanting to improve the 'health' of her hair after bleaching it.

Instead of washing her hair daily or every couple of days, Ellie lasts longer than a week until she gives her locks a good scrub.

But, that is not without the fair share of nasty remarks hurled towards her online.

Documenting how her tresses looks on each day, the 'greasy hair queen' filmed herself on day eight.

In the clip which racked up thousands of views, Ellie shared how she still manages to make her hair look gorgeous without having had a refresh.

Ellie first scraped her long brown hair back and brushed the entirety of it.

She then used a comb to create a middle parting in her hair before she tied it into an effortless ponytail.

Ellie used a spooly to flatten down any baby hairs and then twizzled parts of the pony around.

To finish off the eight days of unwashed hair look, she then secured each curled part of hair and secured these at the back of her head.

The day before, Ellie received a hateful comment from a troll. They jibed: "All the flakes and grease. Girl, it's time to wash."

"I promise It’s wash day today", she replied in the comments.

Unlike the troll, many people were amazed at her hair still looking stylish without being washed.

One person commented: "How do you still look so clean with dirty hair? I usually look like a gremlin."

Another user added: "Girl it's becoming free gel at this point."

While a third voiced: "I’m so excited I have been growing my natural hair out for a few months after bleach blonde and it already feels so much healthier."
