A naughty gran, 96, has given a David Bowie super fan a Ziggy Stardust tattoo that's been branded the "worst ever".

But 'Gangster Gran' Pauline Kana, a novice with the needle, insists her work is "identical" to the man himself.

Pauline has become an internet sensation after starring in outrageous videos shared on social media.

She stars in clips alongside her influencer grandson Ross Smith, and the pair have gained millions of fans across the globe.

But more recently, the world’s biggest "granfluencer" turned her hand to something more creative.

Morgan Presley, 23, is a David Bowie super fan – and appears to base her whole look on the late rock star's Ziggy Stardust persona.

The song Ziggy Stardust was released in 1972, and the character in the song became Bowie’s stage persona until 1973.

It was gran's job to ink Morgan with the spaceman, who Bowie described as having “weird hair”, a “large penis”, “screwed-up eyes” and a "God-given a**."

Despite it being her first time tattooing, Pauline was confident, saying: “I’m giving her a tattoo.

“This is gonna be like the Mona Lisa.”

The senior citizen was sporting a T-shirt with a parody of the Mona Lisa with a balaclava around her neck.

As she drew her first line on Morgan’s leg, she said: “A perfect line!”

    “Perfect”, Morgan agreed in encouragement.

But the next line was a little less Leonardo da Vinci as she wobbled, saying: “I’m sorry”.

She continued to draw the figure, even attempting the infamous Ziggy Stardust makeup.

She said: “I’ve got to give it some head.”

Pauline ultimately went less abstract and decided to ink Bowie with a more mono, minimalist look.

Minimalist fine line tattoos are all the rage at the moment, and she drew his head as a plain black circle.

To get in the mood, Pauline then stuck on Bowie’s seminal 1969 track Space Oddity.

Drawing her final line, her masterpiece was finished.

Pauline was pleased with her work, adding: “It looks identical.”

Ross was also pleased, adding: “Couldn't agree more grandma, you nailed it!”

Morgan, rather ironically, added: “This is honestly my best tattoo ever.”

But fine art comes at a price, with Pauline saying: “That will be $10,000.”
