A freebie queen has revealed how she saved herself money and bagged £1,400 of designer beauty products, jewellery and electronics for free.

Kasia Dul, 35, from West Yorkshire, is an expert at bagging free items and after a year hunting for freebies, she's built up an impressive haul.

Products she has been sent for free include Elizabeth Arden and Dior beauty bundles, an Echo Dot, a Pandora charm, Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet, and YSL Touche Éclat Illuminating Pens.

Talking about her freebie collection, Kasia told LatestDeals.co.uk : “I haven’t counted exactly how many free products I’ve managed to collect over the course of 2020 as there are so many but, at a guess, I'd say that my stash of freebie items and prizes is worth around £1,400.

"It’s mostly made up of beauty products, which are worth around £1,000.

"On top of this, I also earned £250 of Amazon vouchers for sharing links for free products. Plus, I won £50 in a live draw competition and £100 of PayPal Credit by taking part in a Facebook draw."

Kasia admitted that she has got so many beauty freebies now that she certainly doesn't need to buy anything for a while – saving her around £100 a month.

She added: "Some of the freebies I got were full-sized so they lasted for a long time,” she adds. “I even had enough to share with friends and family as gifts."

Kasia said her freebie-hunting began when she was trying to occupy herself while recovering from an illness.

She said she used website LatestFreeStuff.co.uk every day as there is something new to apply for and said you receive rewards for being an active member.

The website also has a newsletter which tells users about eight new freebies everyday as well as an app, which she switched on the notifications for.

As well as this, she has also joined freebie Facebook groups and signed up to tester panels including Home Tester Club, The Insiders, TryIt Sampling Community, First Beauty, Personal Perks and Vogue Insiders.

She also shared another tip to save money – saying you can ask salespeople at beauty counters at Boots, Debenhams, House of Fraser and The Perfume Shop if they have any free samples they can give away.

Talking about her freebie finding habit, Kasia said it was the excitement of deliveries that keeps her hooked and she plans to continue looking for free products in 2021.

Deepak Tailor, Founder of LatestFreeStuff.co.uk says: “Kasia has become an expert-level freebie hunter and her collection of coveted products is impressive.

“With many people feeling the pinch, applying free beauty products and samples is a great way to help cut down your usual spend on cosmetics."
