Now that most of the Christmas festivities are over there are just a few things left to do – pack up the tree, put away the presents and feast on the leftovers.

Many of us have been left with far more Christmas lunch leavings than usual due to the last minute changes to coronavirus restrictions.

So, the question is, what’s the best way to use them up?

Well, one foodie might just have the answer with his incredible Christmas sandwich – and he’s left Facebook users drooling.

Chris Ings shared a snap of the sarnie which was piled high with all the best festive goodies to the group Rate My Plate.

Chris said: “Christmas Dinner Sandwich.”

And, he explained exactly what went into his massive dish: “Rosemary & onion mayo, shredded fried sprouts with bacon, Yorkshire pudding, sous vide turkey breast, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce, brioche bun, rosemary roast spud and a sage and onion stuffing ball.”

Doesn’t it look lush?

If you don’t have everything then you can add what’s left in your fridge and we’re sure it will be almost as delicious.

Although, we have to admit to wanting to devour the entire ensemble.

We can’t think of anything better – and neither, apparently, can his fans.

One person said: “I just gasped.”

“FEEEDDDD MEEEEEEE,” joked another.

A third added: “*crying* because it’s not on my plate!!”

“Now this is a sarnie,” said another.
