Love Island star Joe Garratt confirmed his romance with model Desiree Schlotz while frolicking in the Maldives.

The pair were seen strolling down the beach in co-ordinated swimwear ensembles looking as happy as ever back in October.

Joe showed off bulging muscles, while Desiree had her gorgeous body on show, and its all sort of couple goals.

Who is Joe Garratt’s girlfriend Desiree Schlotz?

Desiree Schlotz, 23, is an American model who Joe started dating after his relationship with Love Island co-star Lucie Donlan ended.

Joe and Desiree met when he slid into her Instagram DMs, with the handsome star telling OK! Online: “I messaged her first. I slid into her DMs, but obviously she lived in America so it was a tricky one.

"She posted these cookies, these American Toll House cookies. So I slid into her DMs and was like 'Oh my days, I love them cookies so much' with like loads of love heart eyes.

“As soon as I sent it, I went oh my God that was too keen so I unsent it and sent it back with just one heart eyes.”

It turns out Joe’s single heart eye emoji worked a treat as the pair have been together since, and often share very loved-up snaps on their respective Instagram accounts.

Joe went on to explain that they spent months talking on the phone and getting to know each other before meeting again in the Maldives.

"We were exclusively dating at the time and then it came around to the Maldives and… obviously it had been quite a while of us talking and stuff so I went out there to meet her and I asked her out straight away."

Describing how he asked Desiree to be his girlfriend, he continued: "I literally got there, we went out to this private beach.

"I drew a heart in the sand and as soon as she came out from getting ready I asked her, 'Do you want to be my girlfriend?' and she was like, 'Yeah!'"

Desiree, who shortens her name to Desi, boasts a whopping 659,000 followers on the platform.

She often posts lingerie or bikini shots, showing off her sensational curves.

The model’s bio reads: “Spread Love & Vibe Positive,” and she cites her current location as Dubai.

It is reported that, before Joe, Desiree was dating the founder of Ignite CBD, Dan Bilzerian.

Dan is also a movie star and television personality, who has starred in Lone Survivor, The Equalizer, Cat Run and more.

Joe, who wants to be the next Mark Wright, and Desiree have been enjoying time away together in Dubai and recently posted about a date night at a gorgeous restaurant.

The sweet pair looked very loved-up as they rode in a taxi to the eatery, before sharing snaps of their evening.
