EastEnders’ Louisa Lytton shares snaps from ‘paradise’ on honeymoon with husband Ben and daughter
01/10/2023EastEndersactressLouisa Lyttonhas shared some snaps from her stunning winter getaway with husband Ben Bhanvra and daughter Aura.
The newlyweds, whomarried last yearin Siena, Tuscany, have been honeymooning in the Maldives. In a post shared to Instagram, Louisa, 33, penned the caption: “Arrived . . . Baby napping, honeymoon in full swing, never seen a place like it, the most unique island we could ever have imagined. Aura keeps saying ‘wow’.”
The family are staying at the Oaga Art Resort, which is a beachfront resort in Maaranfushi featuring an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, karaoke and a kid’s club. The Maldivian resort offers theatrical dining experiences for guests as well as a range of activities provided by local artists and craftsmen. The all-inclusive resort averages at £1,112 a night.
Louisa can be seen making the most of the trip with her daughter Aura in a series of pics posted to her 275k Instagram followers. She shared a video of the tranquil blue water, describing it as “paradise”, before the new arrivals were greeted with a welcome dance by resort staff.
Louisa also shared a sweet pic of her and her daughter holding hands as they stood in the shallow water, with the caption: “morning chats and strolls..”.
The actress exclusively opened up to OK! about their dreamy start to married life and new chapter as a family and revealed how they have been looking forward to relaxing after the stress of wedding planning.
Louisa and Ben were first set to marry in August 2020, but postponed their plans as a result of the pandemic.
“It was emotional making the decision to postpone it because you put all this work and effort into something, build it all up in your head, and then suddenly it’s not happening for ages,”Louisa revealed to us at the time.
While they pushed it back a second time again as a result of the pandemic, Louisa revealed that she was in fact relieved as she didn’t want to celebrate her big day while pregnant.
She told OK! : “The wedding had actually already been put back to 2022 because it didn’t look like it was going ahead the way we wanted this year. Then, soon after, we found out I was pregnant so we had to call them and say we’re actually having a baby so it can’t go ahead anyway! I also don’t want to get married while pregnant.”
Come June 2022, the happy couple were finally set to walk down the aisle when disaster struck again afterthe family-of-three contractedCovid.
Finally however, three years after Ben originally popped the question during a romantic getaway to the Maldives, the happy couple said "I do" in a stunning Tuscan ceremony in front of close friends and family.
