Cliff Richard has had a music career spanning more than 60 years. It is no surprise he has managed to build up a huge fortune during this time.

Cliff was born on October 14, 1940 in Lucknow, India and moved to the UK when he was eight years old.

He was born Harry Rodger Webb but became best known for his stage name of Cliff Richard.

His love of music reportedly blossomed when he was 16 years old and was bought a guitar by his father.

Two years later, Cliff became the lead singer of the rock and roll band the Drifters, who were also known as the Shadows.
