Want to take your Sunday dinner to the next level?

There’s a way to get your roast chicken to taste even more delicious.

Home cooks have been crumbling Oxo cubes over poultry skin to enhance the flavour.

To do this, pour a little olive oil over your bird and sprinkle over a dry stock cube.

You should then rub the powder into the chicken and add other seasonings of your choice – from garlic to a crack of red pepper.

Adding the concentrated stock cube will really help to make the taste of chicken come through in your final dish.

This isn’t the only way to use a stock cube to add some flare to your next Sunday dinner.

Previously, a dad revealed how he uses the product on his roasties.

Creator of the ever expanding food group Rate My Plate Éire, Andrew captioned his post: “Chicken Oxo cube roast spuds, everything you need to make it and the finished product.”

In the snaps, followers could see the process in action.

All you’ll need to make these golden brown roasties is some peeled and chopped potatoes, salt, pepper, garlic, an onion and two OXO cubes.

Andrew said: “Par boil your potatoes and put them in oven proof dish.

“Toss in oil and add the OXO cubes [made into liquid stock with half a cup of water] and seasoning.

“Put them into the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for three hours. Low and slow is best.”

The finished results speak for themselves – who wouldn’t want to tuck into those delicious-looking spuds?
