‘Broke’ pastor leaves Church to become glamour model and now earns £70k a month

A woman says she’s “so much happier” since quitting her job as a pastor to become a glamour model.

Nikole Mitchell was raised in a religious family and always strove to have a husband and kids – but it wasn’t until later in life that she realised she’d been suppressing a secret.

The mum, from California, USA, faced her fears by coming out as “queer”.

She also decided to leave the Church and pursue a career as a sexy model.

Nikole felt comfortable in front of the camera and started posting saucy snaps on OnlyFans.

She is now earning a fortune from the adult subscription site – but best of all, she pleased she has shrugged off her restrictive past.

The former pastor told Truly: “I was raised in a very conservative, religious environment.

“The message was when you become a wife and mother you’ve reached the pinnacle of womanhood.

“I tried to become that woman for most of my life.

“I decided I want to be a preacher and a pastor. I want to tend to my flock and bring people together.

“The church where I rose up as a pastor was a mega church – it’s a huge community with thousands of people.”

Nikole continued: “When I was a pastor I was still subscribing to belief that I am responsible for how men view me.

“I would spend so much time on my outfit.

“Like don’t wear too tight jeans or I probably shouldn’t wear high heels because that could look provocative or sexy.

“That was just a lifetime of shaming women – body shaming, sex shaming and victim shaming – it was so toxic, it was so controlling, it was so unhealthy.

“But then I had my awakening. I realised my queerness and that I’d kept it closeted. I felt terrifyingly me.”

Nikole found the strength to come out and leave her religious career behind her.

She explained: “There was this pressure to fit the mould and as a queer woman in a very straight, male-dominated church, I was afraid I was too much and I would get in trouble.

“I knew I would likely lose my job and my church.

“But it eventually got to a point where I couldn’t hide it and I decided to come out publicly.”

After quitting her pastor job, Nikole set-up her first sexy photoshoot in 2018.

She recalled: “It was in 2018 that I finally scheduled by first photoshoot – it was something I wanted to do for years and it felt so beautiful, tasteful, artistic and expressive. The more I did, the more I wanted of that."

After getting a taste of life in front of the cameras, Nikole wanted more of it.

She started her own OnlyFans page, which she says has “become a full blown money-making job”.

Nikole explained: “I’ve gone from being a pastor in my church to being a successful adult model.

"I make between $30,000 (around £21,000) to $100,000 (around £72,000) a month.”

Nikole is so pleased she was brave enough to take the leap of faith.

She added: “A few years ago we were broke.

“I was a stay at home mum, I didn’t know my purpose.

“But then, I had my awakening and shifted and I’ve become who I was always meant to be.”
