Influencer Ruby Rare has left fans feeling inspired with her latest self-love snap.

The sex educator and body positive star took to her Instagram to proudly show off her "belly" and body hair as she stripped to a bikini.

And her followers were left applauding the pink-haired star for her honest post.

Ruby was seen posing in skimpy orange swimwear as she enjoyed a sunshine break in Tenerife.

She flaunted her stomach, hips and thighs in the two-piece as she soaked up the sun while catching some rays.

The influencer, who rocked a big grin, also showed off her armpit hair as she posed with one arm behind her head.

She teamed her flesh-flashing display with orange sunnies while she sported her centre-parted locks in beauty waves.

Captioning the post, Ruby told fans she felt "refreshed" after her holiday, however she did admit that it was hard not to compare her body to others while she way away.

Despite this, she praised her "resilience" at overcoming this and enjoying her time away.

Addressing her 81,900 followers, the social media star wrote: "Happy silly beach body!

"I’m feeling incredibly refreshed after my holiday. Being in the sun in as little clothes as possible connects me to my body like nothing else, and a week away from social media has done me so so so much good – I keep using the phrase ‘unwound’ to describe myself.

"But even so, holidays can bring up difficult body feelings, and I don’t want to shy away from that.

"While I look at this picture and feel a lot of joy about my body, when you’re walking around on the beach irl (in real life) it’s hard not to compare yourself to others, and I definitely felt myself slip into that this past week.

"And even more than that, I was kinda surprised at how resilient I needed to be being my happy little self in a very ‘mainstream’ holiday destination.

"I spend most of my time in a happy queer arty bubble, and suddenly being out of that and being the only femme person with body hair, and pink hair and wonky tattoos and a belly I feel proud of rather than trying to conceal, felt quite vulnerable.

"It’s a horrible feeling realising you’re being looked at by others with unkind eyes."

The influencer continued: "Obviously this is even more challenging, and potentially dangerous, for folks with more marginalised identities than me, I’m not trying to get the tiny violin out right now.

"Scrolling through my feed on here it’s easy to think the world is becoming a lot more open-minded, but the reality is it’s all happening at a much slower pace than I’d like, and in most spaces being visibility different, even in subtle ways, takes courage.

"Sending you a hug from me and my belly full of sunbeams, I hope you’re all having a gentle start to the week."

Fans were loving the post, as one told her she looked "beautiful".

While another added: "I saw you on my holiday I’d be very happy."

A third chimed in: "You bring such beautiful nuance to my feed, thank you for articulating this feeling."

Ruby is just one of the body positive stars hitting headlines lately for their uplifting posts.

Influencer Bella Davis also inspired this week as she was seen showing off her curves in lingerie as she ate cate. She told fans 'you don't need to earn food'.
