It took becoming a mom for Billie Lourd to understand some of her own mother’s style choices.

The “Scream Queens” star told People she once took issue with her late mother, Carrie Fisher, stepping out sans bra, but has since changed her tune.

“I used to get mad … And now I sometimes don’t have the energy to put on a bra,” she admitted.

“I’m thinking about my old self yelling at my mom about that and I’m like, ‘Man, she was probably just tired and didn’t feel like putting on a bra! Why was I hating on her for it?’”

In her 2008 memoir “Wishful Drinking,” Fisher wrote that “Star Wars” director George Lucas told her to skip the brassiere on set, telling her, “There’s no underwear in space.”

Lourd, 29, shares 20-month-old son Kingston Fisher with husband Austen Rydell.

“It’s exhausting being a mom,” she told the outlet. “Sometimes you can’t even put on a sock. I go full robe most days. The fact that I have a dress on right now is a rarity.”

The “American Horror Story” actress certainly glammed up for her wedding to Rydell in March, wearing a series of looks that paid tribute to Fisher, who passed away in 2016.

For her rehearsal dinner, she accented her Oscar de la Renta gown with a Princess Leia-inspired braided hairstyle woven with fresh flowers. And at the ceremony and reception, she wore a duo of Rodarte dresses for a sweet reason.

“I discovered Kate and Laura [Mulleavy, Rodarte’s designers] after they interviewed my mom for an article in 2014 and immediately fell in love. So when I started thinking about who I wanted to design my wedding dress, they were the first people who came to mind,” Lourd told Vogue.
