When Beyoncé graces a magazine cover, she does it right.

Not only did the singer, 39, sport her very own Ivy Park x Adidas “Drip 2” designs on one of three covers for British Vogue’s December issue, but she and editor-in-chief Edward Enninful also tasked 20 of the biggest fashion brands to craft custom pieces for the spread.

Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, Fendi and more created bespoke outfits for Bey.

Among the jaw-dropping looks? An open-backed coral gown by Christopher John Rogers, which the was styled with Lorraine Schwartz diamonds and a crystal thong — also custom — by Agent Provocateur, whose off-the-rack bedazzled undies can cost upwards of $400 per pair.

In her interview with Enninful, Beyoncé revealed that she and her kids Blue, Rumi and Sir started a “Fashion Fridays” tradition during the coronavirus pandemic, dressing up and staging photoshoots each week to bring joy to their days at home. She added that the newest Ivy Park collection was inspired by this new tradition, using bright, bold colors to “remind us to smile.”

“I used a lot of neon yellow and coral mixed with baby blue and earth tones that felt soothing,” she said. “Ivy Park is all in the details, and fit is extremely important — the waistline falling at just the right spot to be flattering to the body, extra stretch panels across the stomach to give you a flatter tummy.”

Continued the superstar, “My vision for the collection is that it is fun, functional and fashionable, with athletic options that you can wear to the gym, then to the night club, from playing basketball to vogueing at the balls. The goal is to be infinitely inclusive from style to size.”
