Award-winning writer, author and activist, Darnell Moore, is currently hosting a new podcast called Being Seen produced by Harley & Co and ViiV Healthcare. The first season of Being Seen will explore cultural representations and their impact through discussions with leading artists, activists and entertainers with a strong focus on the gay and queer Black male experience.

The series consists of ten, 35-minute episodes that are launched on a weekly basis. Guests includes Harpers Bazaar Editor in Chief Samira Nasr, American poet Saeed Jones, fashion designer Jerome Lamaar, stylist Yashua Simmons, producer Ben Cory Jones, writer Kiese Laymon and film and television writer Lee Daniels, among many others.

The producers of the podcasts have also collaborated with a slew of artists for the project including Kara Walker, Thomas Evans and Ronald Jackson “to help bring a visual concept to the podcast and further support Black artists/creatives, with a hope to continue the important work that they do,” as per a statement. Each time an episode is released, Being Seen will also launch an original illustration from the artists.
