You won’t have sweet dreams in here! People share photos of bedrooms strewn with laundry and half-eaten takeaways as they compete for the dubious honour of being crowned the messiest in the UK

  • Bed and mattress specialist, Bed SoS, searched country for messiest bedrooms
  • Photo competition revealed top 10 – and Anna Wrigley from Cumbria came first

Your bedroom is meant to be a place of relaxation and rest; arguably the comfiest area in your house, but it seems that keeping it clean and tidy is not a priority for everyone.

Bed and mattress specialist, Bed SoS, searched the country high and low for the messiest bedroom via a photo competition – and have since revealed the 10 most untidy rooms.

Anna Wrigley, from Kendal in Cumbria, was crowned the competition winner after sharing her carnage of a room, featuring a half-eaten takeaway from the night before – and she bagged the prize of a new bed.

Danny Richmond, Managing Director of Bed SOS, said: ‘These pictures prove that we can sometimes let life get on top of us. Although it may seem like a chore, a tidy bedroom and a comfy bed, free of clutter, can have a huge impact on the quality of our sleep.

‘Hopefully, these pictures inspire you to give your bedroom a tidy, to ensure you get a good night’s rest.’

Anna Wrigley from Cumbria captioned this ‘The day after the night before’ which, from the looks of it, was a pretty big night. Having been crowned the winner of the competition, Anna will receive a brand new bed of her choice from Bed SoS
