Amber Heard’s sister, Whitney Heard, slammed MTV for including Johnny Depp in their Video Music Awards broadcast Sunday night. 

“@MTV You’re disgusting and clearly desperate!” Whitney, 34, wrote on her Instagram Story. “I really hope that none of the people who made this call have daughters.”

Amber’s younger sibling added the hashtags “#DVMAS” and “#IStandWithAmberHeard.” 

Depp’s VMAs appearance came more than two months after he won his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber, 36. 

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, 59, walked away from the legal battle relatively unscathed, though several damning allegations were made about him.

Amber alleged during her testimony that Depp beat and threatened to kill her when he abused drugs and alcohol. She also accused him of berating her over her interactions with her former co-star James Franco.

Depp vehemently denied all claims of abuse since Amber first made her accusations. 

After the trial, the actor said he felt “at peace” and “overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and the colossal support and kindness from around the world.”

Depp appeared via hologram as one of the network’s iconic Moon Person trophies.
