Amanda Seyfried and Milo Ventimiglia showed their stripes at the New York premiere of their new movie, “The Art of Racing in the Rain,” on Monday.

The actress, 33, sparkled in a metallic Prada shirtdress that featured gold, silver and glittering blue stripes. She kicked the glamour up another notch with crystal-covered Prada sandals ($1,250) and gold Jennifer Meyer drop earrings ($750).

Ventimiglia, who plays Seyfried’s race car-driving husband in the movie, coordinated in a Breton stripe shirt, blue jacket and green pants.

The “This is Us” star, 42, recently addressed his previous statements that he was passed over for the role of Batman — which the studio gave to 33-year-old Robert Pattinson — because of his age.

“Listen, I’m a fan of Batman in general and I know that they were looking for an actor that they can mature with as well,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “Robert Pattinson is a great actor. Very excited. I’m very excited to see those movies.”

Earlier in the week, Ventimiglia put it bluntly: “Do I see myself in a cape and cowl?” he asked aloud in a podcast episode. “Warner Brothers didn’t. They said, ‘Ventimiglia, you’re too old.’”

However, he also added that he’s busy with the hit NBC show, which Seyfried said she’s dying to join. “In fact, I was trying to think of ways to talk Mandy Moore out of her role,” the “Mean Girls” actress said during an AOL Build series interview on Monday. “I really wanted her to step down and give me a try.”
