Crown Princess Leonor of Spain looked smart and grown up as she met with youth volunteers in Madrid. 

The princess, 17, appeared poised as she met with volunteers from Red Cross programs at Oficina Central de Cruz Roja Española. 

The daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia appeared to be following in her mother’s stylish footsteps as she stepped out in a burgundy polo neck jumper and black flared trousers. 

The young royal opted for a grey blazer with a slim wide red check and completed her outfit with a pair of black flat ballerina pumps, whilst her mother recently turned heads across the Atlantic as she stepped out in a stunning red suit in Los Angeles.

Leonor kept her brown tresses loose, falling in light curls around her shoulders, and opted for a minimal and natural make-up look.

The young princess met with volunteers from Red Cross programs, which aims obtain a more just and respectful society, through transmission and education in values, the acquisition of healthy habits and the process of full integration of people.

Made up of children and young people between the ages of eight and 30, it says its ‘Fundamental Principles being those of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Volunteer Character , Unity and Universality.’

She recently made headlines as she posed with her younger sister Infanta Sofia, 15, for the Spanish royal family’s Christmas card. 

The sisters cuddled up in cosy knitwear as they posed for the photo against a colourful background of a tree with leaves that have turned orange and red in the colder months.

Infanta Sofia, dressed in a white and blue striped Zara jumper, threw her arms around her older sister as the girls smiled for the photo as their thick blonde locks cascaded down their shoulders.

As her daughters grow into young women, Queen Letizia’s style no doubt provides inspiration to Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, who are often spotted in high street outfits just like their mother, who often favours Spanish high street stores like Zara and Mango.
