Parents and guardians across the country can let out a collective sigh of relief as Aldi announced the return of its popular £4.50 school uniform deal.

Every parent will tell you that each year there's a mad dash to the shops to buy the kids uniform at the end of the school holidays, and no matter how long and exhausting those six weeks are, the last week always seems to arrive sooner than expected.

Then of course it's carnage trying to dash around all the shops trying to find the kids uniform, and resorting to panic buying and having no choice but to buy alternate sizes because they're all that's left on the rack.

Thankfully, Aldi is bringing back its £4.50 school uniform bundle, which is suitable for children aged 4 to 12 years, and this year’s top-quality deal includes two polo shirts, one sweatshirt and either trousers or a skirt.

All the items will be available to buy online from July 18 and in store from July 22 – so if you're wanting to make sure you get your hands on as many of the uniform packages as you need, you will need to be quick, as with all Aldi's Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Parents and carers can prepare for the start of the new school year earlier and avoid all the unnecessary worry – what's more, the uniform package comes with a whopping 150 day satisfaction guarantee.

Savvy parents will be pleased to learn that the deal is part of Aldi’s highly anticipated Back to School range, which will also be launching online from July 18 and again in stores from July 22.

It will include everything needed to dress little ones in style, from shirts and trousers to PE kit and shoes – representing the best value in the market, not to mention it is also the cheapest school uniform package in the UK.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: "We know how financially challenging the back to school period can be, which is why just like in previous years, we’ve worked hard to offer families top quality products at the lowest possible prices.

We’ve announced the launch of our Back to School range earlier in the summer to reassure parents that they can get their little ones kitted out for the school year early, and leave them to enjoy the rest of the summer holidays which many missed last year.”

This year’s range sees the continuation of Aldi’s partnership with ‘Cotton made in Africa’ (CiA), which guarantees that only the highest quality, sustainably sourced cotton is used. The range also uses recycled materials, promising to be kind to shoppers’ bank balances and on the planet.
