Who survives after figure unleashes chemical attack on Home and Away residents?

All of Martha (Belinda Giblin) and Roo’s (Georgie Parker) hard work has come to fruition in Salt, as their fundraising event for charity is proving to be hugely popular. However, as the guests mill around in their best outfits, a mysterious figure has other ideas for the night, showing up at the Surf Club in a HAZMAT suit.

Martha begins to feel a bit faint, but after sitting down for a moment she brushes it off – she probably had too much champagne. Irene sits down next to her and also begins to feel unwell – both women completely unaware that chemicals are seeping through the vents directly above their heads.

Cash’s (Nicholas Cartwright) sharp detective eyes soon spot a vapour coming from the vents and he tells everyone in the bar to stay away from them. Immediately realising what the situation is, he tells Mackenzie (Emily Weir) to dial emergency and to bring in a HAZMAT team so everyone can be decontaminated.

Everyone is locked into Salt – leaving Justin (James Stewart) and Jasmine (Sam Frost) on the balcony, confused as to why everyone is panicking inside the building. The HAZMAT team shows up and locates Tane (Ethan Browne), immediately getting him outside to emergency workers.

Without hesitating, both Jasmine and Logan (Harley Bonner) leap into action to save his life – not caring that they’re putting themselves at risk of contamination.

Meanwhile, the gathering inside Salt is slowly getting worse – Alf (Ray Meagher) is demanding help for his wife as Martha’s condition deteriorates, and Irene is struggling with her exposure to the fumes.

Then Leah (Ada Nicodemou) passes out from the toxic air – will emergency services get there in time to save everyone?
