You could get paid to test limited-edition Christmas menus

12/01/2020

Most people wouldn’t hesitate to say that food is one of their favourite parts of the Christmas season.

If you’re one of those people, then you could be in luck, because restaurant and takeaway insurance website MoneyBeach.co.uk is looking for a Festive Food Tester.

The job involves reviewing a variety of popular limited-edition Christmas takeaway menu options, from drinks to sandwiches to pastries from the likes of Greggs, McDonald’s, Costa Coffee and KFC.

If you get the job, you’ll need to review these foods and drinks based on value for money, taste and ‘festive-ness’ to find which Christmas foods are the best.

You’ll be given £75 to fund the ordering of said food, and the information you provide will help MoneyBeach decide which is the best festive food in the nation.

Mike Rees, CEO of MoneyBeach.co.uk, said, ‘As a specialist website for restaurant and takeaway insurance, we keep a keen eye on takeaway trends in the UK.

‘This year is the first year that many limited-edition Christmas menus have been available for delivery at home, and it prompted us to wonder if we could find out once and for all which festive food is officially the best.

‘We’ll be looking for someone who loves Christmas as much as they love takeaways, as it’s really important for us to know how much festive joy each dish or snack brings.’

To apply you need to be aged 18 or over and based in the UK.

Only one person can enter per household, and you’ll need to live in an area where at least one of either Deliveroo, UberEats or Just Eat can deliver to you.

You need to go to the MoneyBeach website, fill in your details and explain why you think you’re perfect for the role.

Applications will close on 16 December, with the winning candidate announced the next day.
