Where can you order craft beer online during lockdown?05/21/2020
Two months in, we’re all missing the pub – but the good news is that you can order some great craft beer online.
Oh, how we’d love to be sitting in a beer garden for this sunny bank holiday weekend.
Sadly, you’ll have to make do with an ice-cold can in your own little bit of space.
So ordering something a little different can make it feel like more of a treat.
Luckily, there are lots of options out there, from subscription boxes to one-off treats.
If you know what you like, you can choose specific types of beers or if you can choose a surprise selection to try something new.
We’ve put together some places where you can order beer to be delivered directly to your door.
Not sure where to start with craft beer? Honest Brew offer this 12 beer mixed case for £29.90 (or £27.66 if you are a member).
The beers vary slightly depending on availability but you can expect a dozen easy-drinking beers if you aren’t sure what you like or just want someone to make some choices for you.
This World Beers Mixed Case includes 10 beers and a free glass. Expect drinks from around the world, including big IPAs, Belgian belters and some specials from Spain.
The box costs £28.90, plus £4.95 for shipping.
Sure you can probably manage to find some cans of BrewDog at your local supermarket these days but there’s a huge selection on their website.
Their online build-you-own-bundle service lets you pick some of the things you know you like, while trying something new. Prices depend on what you order.
Inspired by the team at Camden Town Brewery missing their Friday desk beers, they’ve created a double dry-hopped American Pale Ale, literally called Desk Beer.
You can get a pack of six bottles for £10 on their website.
Beerhawk has put together this pack with eight beers by six different breweries, all created to support the NHS. All Beerhawks profits from the case will be donated to NHS Charities Together.
It includes Front Line Pale from Roosters, Florence Session IPA from Thornbridge Brewery, Nightingale Golden Ale from Rudgate Brewery, Heroes Thank You Lager from Camden Brewery, Nightingale New England Pale from signature Brew and Isolation lager, Lockdown Living.
The box costs £25, and delivery is £4.99, or free if you spend £50.
Want a selection but not up to ordering a whole box? Order.Beer offers a tube with just three cans for £9.99. If you aren’t sure what to choose there’s a mystery mix.
For something more specific, you can choose from the fruity mix, gluten free mix, a dark selection, the funky bunch, a light selection or lager/pilsner mix, or from a range of regional selections.
Flavourly is a beer club where you get eight curated beers from small batch breweries as well as The Flavourly Magazine, a snack and a personalist tasting profile.
You can choose from the light box if you prefer lighter beers or the mixed box.
It costs £19.90 per month (which will be charged automatically until you cancel it) and comes with free delivery.
