Tablelog Shares a List of the Highest-Rated Ramen Shops in Japan

Tabelog, a popular Japanese platform that helps you find restaurants in Japan, has released the fourth installment of its periodical “100 Famous Ramen Shops” rankings guide, which spotlights some of the top-rated ramen shops in the nation.

The guide shows 100 restaurants each in three areas of Japan: Tokyo, eastern Japan and western Japan. In the “Tokyo” category, 16 new ramen shops were introduced for the first time in Tablelog’s periodic guide. The district in Tokyo with the most mentions was Suginami, showcasing 11 shops, followed by Shinjuku with nine. Covering the eastern part of Japan were a variety of shops that come from places like Hokkaido and Aichi — close to 10 Iekei ramen shops were picked in this category, one of which includes “Yoshimuraya.” Finally, Tablelog jotted a total of 61 restaurants in western Japan, most of which are in Osaka — “Muteppou Ramen” and “Human Beings Everybody Noodles” are but a few examples of the shops that were selected.
