Starbucks open: Full list of reopened stores and drive-thrus

Starbucks Coffee have reopened their doors across the UK after closing their doors for many weeks during the coronavirus pandemic. Although there will be a limited menu to ensure the staff can socially distance, coffee lovers will be able to enjoy their favourites once again.

Starbucks says it’ll be serving a “near-complete” range of beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffees, teas and frappuccinos.

They revealed that it will be opening around 15 percent of its UK sites, which is around 150 stores.

The opening times will also be different to the usual opening times so they recommend checking your local’s opening hours.

Most shops opening will be drive-thrus, although some stores will be opening for a take-away service.

NHS workers will also be able to receive a free Tall drink of their choice at any open store.

Those who are waiting to order or collect their drink will be asked to wait in a designated area where a two-metre distance from other people can be maintained.

The coffee chain is asking customers to only go to stores once their order is ready.

Other open chains include Costa and Pret A Manger which reopened their doors for take away and drive-thru service.

Costa have reopened 316 stores across the UK in locations including London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Plymouth, Cardiff and Birmingham.

Those visiting the stores for collection must follow the new social distancing guidelines that have been put in place to help the safety of customers and staff.

Only contactless payments will be accepted and the retailer will not be using reusable cups for the time being to ensure minimal constant and contamination.
