Starbucks releases new drinks and food every year to mark the festive season. This year, the menu sees the return of some favourites as well as the launch of some new food and cold drinks.

Available in Starbucks stores nationwide from November 5 to January 4, three festive drinks are returning to the menu after popular demand.

The Toffee Nut Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Eggnog Latte are back for the festive season with prices starting at £3.15.

The Toffee Nut Latte consists of Starbucks’ signature espresso and steamed milk combined with Toffee Nut syrup, topped with whipped cream and delicious toffee nut sprinkles.

Gingerbread Latte is one of Starbucks’ most loved festive drinks and it consists of espresso, steamed milk with a touch of gingerbread syrup, finished off with gingerbread flavoured whipped cream and a crunchy wafer topping.

These two drinks are also available with the new Vegan Whipped Topping.

The Eggnog Latte is also making a return to the menu which combines Starbucks’ signature espresso with rich steamed eggnog, finished with a sprinkling of ground nutmeg.

New to the menu this year is the Truffle Deluxe Hot Chocolate which is a delicious blend of steamed milk and chocolatey mocha, finished with whipped cream and a chocolate truffle flavour topping.

Three savoury options are available for customers this year with a new toasted delight making an appearance.

A vegan option is also returning to the menu for a limited time only.

The Very Merry Vegan Wrap is packed with butternut squash fritters and roasted red cabbage with a vegan maple mustard mayonnaise in a beetroot wrap.

For those with a sweet tooth, there are three options this year with two new treats available.

The Raspberry and Pistachio Linzer Cookie is made with ground pistachios and sandwiches with a raspberry jam.

The delicious Sea Salted Caramel and Pecan Swirl is available for £2.19 and consists of a soft dough filled with caramel sauce, topped with more caramel and chopped pecans.

Returning is the popular Christmas Tree Brownie which is a rich brownie slice with chocolate buttercream and finished with a sprinkling of gold dust.

All customers who bring their red cup into store will receive 25p off of their order.

Last week, Costa released their festive menu which sees the return of their Terry’s Chocolate Orange muffin as well as a delicious After Eight muffin.

Quality Street lovers will be happy to learn that the new additions to the Costa menu include a Quality Street Purple One Latte and a Quality Street Purple One Hot Chocolate.

The festive twist on Costa’s classic handcrafted latte has a rich caramel chocolate sauce and roasted hazelnut syrup which is topped with a light dairy swirl and drizzled with caramel chocolate sauce inspired by the Quality Street Purple One chocolate.

Also back on the menu this year is the Hot Spiced Apple, a perfect winter warmer drink which is serviced with a slice of lemon.

A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “We are incredibly excited to bring together the festive icons that are Quality Street, After Eight and Terry’s Chocolate Orange for our limited-edition drinks range to truly capture the taste of Christmas in a cup.

“This year, more than ever, we wanted to ensure we make Christmas feel that little bit more magical, every sip of the way, so we’re exceptionally pleased to offer returning and new Costa Coffee lovers these soon-to-be iconic additions, plus their classic favourites too. Now to the tough decision of choosing which to try first!”
