Starbucks Japan Serves Marbled Milk Strawberry Frappuccino

08/13/2020

Starbucks has just announced that a marble-finished Milk Strawberry Frappuccino is now available in Japan. The chilled drink comes after the coffee chain’s other recent announcement, in which it unveiled the Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino and the return of the fan-favorite S’mores flavor.

For the Milk Strawberry Frappuccino, Starbucks combines ice, milk and strawberry puree and tops it with vanilla-flavored whipped cream with added strawberry sauce to finish. When combined, a marble pattern forms — making for the most Instagrammable, summer-ready drink around.

The coffee chain says the drink “has a simple taste that combines the sweet and sour taste of strawberries and the gentle taste of milk.” Starbucks will be selling this drink in Japan in three sizes: tall, grande, and venti, and will retail from ¥590 JPY (approx. $5.50 USD).

In other news, PEANUTS is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a limited-edition bottle of Heinz ketchup.
