M&S Easter deals: Family dine in launches today for just £20 – plus other weekend offers

Marks and Spencer is offering multiple deals this week ahead of the Easter weekend. There will also be new deals available over the weekend, as well as on the Monday bank holiday.

Marks and Spencer’s family dine in meal deal has launched in stores today and is available until April 5.

The dine comprises of a roasting main, three sharing sides, and a dessert – all for only £20.

Families can save up to £12 in total with the dine in, instead of having to spend more on all items individually.

For the dine in’s centre piece, customers can choose from a lamb shoulder, a chicken roast, a pork roast, or a beef roast.

For vegetarians, there is a Plant Kitchen Vegan ‘Chickenless’ Roasting Joint available, which M&S said is “bursting with flavour” and made with a blend of mushrooms, wheat and pea protein, and an onion and sage stuffing.

As for sides, M&S has plenty to choose from, including roast potatoes, mature cheddar cauliflower cheese, carrots, and pigs in blankets.

Round off your meal with a dessert, such as the New York Vanilla Cheesecake or the Raspberry Jelly Terrine.

Also available at M&S stores today is the retailer’s Deli Deal, which features three picnic options for only £7.

There are 125 options to choose from, including quiches, antipasti, hams, seafood, and falafels.

As for drinks, M&S cans are only £2 and include cocktails such as Passion Star Martini, Gin and Tonic, and Mojito.

M&S is expecting sales of their cocktail cans to rocket to 25 percent and above this week.

The retailer’s Conte Pruili Prosecco Rosé is also on sale, costing £8 instead of its usual £12, until April 5.

On Friday this week, M&S is offering its Beer Battered Cod Fillets for £5, and the retailer has a range of accompaniments available too, including curry sauce, mushy peas, and chips.

The supermarket’s Saturday deal features the Pizza Meal Deal, which enables customers to pick up two stonebaked pizzas and two sides for only £10.

The sides include Mac & Cheese Bites, Dirty Fries, and Onion Rings.

For Easter Sunday, M&S recommended stocking up on treats from its Easter egg collection, such as the Family Egg Hunt Box of foil-wrapped eggs or the Percy-perfect Egg Hunt Kit, both costing £5 each.

M&S is calling this bank holiday Monday “Barbecue Monday” as it is offering a Grill Deal, which means that customers can get three BBQ food items for only £10.

These include the new British Pork Belly Slices with Sticky BBQ Sauce, Four Cheese & Onion Burgers, and Four Lamb Shish Kebabs.

M&S Food’s Director of Product, April Preston, commented: “Brighter days are definitely upon us and this week we are expecting customers in England to get in the swing of alfresco dining earlier than ever before as we slowly ease our way out of lockdown restrictions.

“We are forecasting the first barbecues and picnics of the season across England, come rain or shine, as the country reunites with small groups outdoors.

“Our stores are stocked up and ready with alfresco favourites like our cocktails in a can, barbecue meats and savoury snacks which are expected to be particularly popular this week, not to mention all of our Easter essentials.

“We wish everyone happy and safe celebrations, whilst enjoying much deserved delicious food and drink.”
