Milk Bar Prepares its Grocery Store Takeover

10/06/2020

Shortly after an initial launch at Whole Foods, Milk Bar, founded by award-winning chef Christina Tosi, is now preparing its full grocery store takeover. Continuing the launch of its grocery store line, Milk Bar has now released its Truffle Crumb Cakes and Cookies at all Target locations nationwide.

Opened in 2008, the Momofuku dessert spin-off has made a name for itself with its American-style cakes, cookies, pie and soft serve guided by nostalgia. Aside from its brick and mortar shops across New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and Toronto, Milk Bar has expanded its reach with an eCommerce site that ships dessert care packages around the United States.

The continued grocery store takeover sees the new Truffle Crumb Cakes released in “Birthday,” “Chocolate Birthday” and “Chocolate Chip.” Inspired by Milk Bar’s signature bakery Cake Truffles and classic supermarket desserts, the sweet treats are available now in the refrigerated section. Accompanying the Truffle Crumb Cakes are Milk Bar’s soft-baked Cookies in its beloved Confetti, Compost and Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow. Fans of the cookies will be happy to learn that additional flavors and holiday exclusive tins are set to arrive in November.

Milk Bar’s Truffle Crumb Cakes and Cookies are now available at all Target locations nationwide. Head over to Milk Bar’s website for more information regarding the grocery store products and availability when the line releases at local stores nationwide this fall.
