McDonald's unveils their 2021 Christmas menu – here's what's on it

11/11/2021

Fast food fans, it’s almost time to step into Christmas.

McDonald’s has released the contents of their upcoming 2021 Christmas menu, and it’s a doozy.

From seasonal burgers to twists on festive favourites, here’s what they’ve got planned for us this year.

What’s on the McDonald’s Christmas 2021 menu?

This year, the menu’s heavy hitters are the Festive Stack and Festive Crispy Chicken burgers – both of which will cost £4.89 on their own or £6.39 as a meal

The Festive Stack is made with two 100% British and Irish beef patties with a red onion relish, white cheese sauce, bacon, crispy onions, red onion, lettuce, and cheddar cheese in a glazed brioche-esque bun.

The Festive Crispy Chicken comes loaded with a chicken breast fillet, cranberry sauce, sage and onion mayo, bacon, red onion, lettuce, and cheddar cheese in a glazed poppy and sesame seed bun.

In addition to these Christmassy burgers, the Cheese Melt Dippers are coming back, which you can order in lots of four as a side for £1.89 or in a sharebox for £5.09.

These cheesy morsels are breaded camembert bites served with a tomato dip.

As for desserts, how does a Celebrations McFlurry grab you? Made with dairy ice cream and swirled with Maltesers clusters, Galaxy chocolate drops, Caramel pieces, Mars nuggets and Twix biscuits, and topped with a milk chocolate sauce, it will be going for £1.49 for a regular and 99p for mini

For the Christmas traditionalists, there’s going to be the Festive Pie – a hot crispy pie filled with mincemeat and custard for £1.19.

All this comes with a price, however, as the McDonald’s Festive Menu replaces the following current menu items: the Double Big Mac, Mozzarella Dippers and Crunchie McFlurry.

And while the Festive Crispy Chicken is on sale, McDonald’s will temporarily remove all Chicken Legend variants from sale in the UK. But don’t panic – the range will return in January.

When is the McDonald’s Christmas menu available?

Even though we know the contents of the menu, it will still be a few days before we can order from it.

These festive offerings won’t be available in McDonald’s branches until Wednesday, November 17.

After they drop, they’ll be around for just six weeks.

In the meantime, there are two new sweet drinks already on the menu – the Choco Fudge Latte (£1.79 for a regular and £2.09 for a large) and the Hot Chocolate Deluxe (£1.39)
