Lotus Biscoff launch cookies filled with caramel, vanilla or chocolate

The folks at Lotus Biscoff know how to keep us pleased in the snacking department – something more important than ever, with us being at home all day.

Whether it’s offering biscuits dipped in Belgian chocolate, bite-sized Biscoff rolls or a squeezable sauce, the company knows their stuff when it comes to sweet treats.

But the brand has just launched a brand new product for snackers to try – a biscuit made up of two Biscoff cookies with a creme filling sandwiched in the centre.

What’s more, there are three different types to choose from: one stuffed with Biscoff spread, one with vanilla and the other with milk chocolate.

The new 150g packs are currently on sale both in store and online at Tesco, for £1.39 – each one contains 15 individual biscuits.

It’s thought the treats will be rolled out in other supermarkets soon – although Lotus Bakeries, the manufacturer of the biscuits, seems to be keeping tight-lipped on the details.

The cream biscuits were first shared by Instagram account Kevs Snackreviews, with the caption: ‘So these beauties are now listed on Tesco’s website for £1.39 a pack.

‘I will certainly be putting a few packs in my basket during my next essential shop!’

The post has since gained more than 2,500 likes and a plethora of comments.

One excitable follower posted: ‘Might have to stockpile every pack of these I’m allowed on the next food shop.’

While another said: ‘I have a £5 Tesco gift card and this is a must.’

Original Lotus biscuits are best-known for their distinctive caramel flavour and are usually served with coffee in cafes and on flights. Although, fans kicked off earlier this year when United Airlines decided to swap the in-flight Biscoff cookies for Oreo Thins.
