Looking for an easy dessert to bake for a weekend treat?
This Swiss roll takes just 15 minutes to put together, another 10 minutes to bake and then a few minutes to roll it all up.
Of course, the Swiss roll is a classic and it’s easier than it looks, if you’ve never tried it before.
The key is getting the right size of tin and following the instructions so you can get the roll right.
To keep it simple, we’ve just used jam, but you can add buttercream, fresh cream, fruit or anything you fancy.
- 125g caster sugar
- 125g plain flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 jar of jam of your choice
