Burger King unveils free Chicken and Vegan Royales deal for Coronation

05/03/2023

To celebrate the Coronation, Burger King UK has announced that it will be launching a buy-one-get-one-free offer on not one, but two of the chain’s iconic sandwiches.

The deal will last the length of the Coronation weekend, so from May 6-8, and customers will be able to claim their free Royale either in restaurants or on the fast food chain’s app.

For those not clued-up, the meaty Royale is made with crisp, tasty chicken topped with iceberg lettuce and creamy mayo – all wrapped in two toasted sesame seed buns.

Carnivores can also ‘Crown It’ and add extra bacon and cheese onto any meal they order in a restaurant for just £1.

Meanwhile, the plant-based variety consists of a vegan patty, iceberg lettuce, and vegan mayo, all inside the same signature sesame seed bun.

On top of this wallet-friendly BOGOF deal, customers can also enjoy their own royal fashion moment by donning one of Burger King’s new limited-edition Crowns.

If you’re after a Coronation Crown, you’ve been able to nab one for free in Burger King restaurants nationwide now, following a May 3 launch.

You’ll also be able to grab a crown at parades across London and Windsor, but you’ll have to move fast before they’re all gone.

Coronation food specials have been coming in thick and fast as the big weekend approaches.

For instance, you can grab some intriguing-looking Coronation Chicken Yorkshire Puddings from Iceland, or some Party Like Royalty Giant Cookies from Morrisons (which we can confirm are delicious).
