A new Bavarian-inspired beer hall is coming to London this June

The capital is brimming with brilliant drinking spots, but there’s a new one to look forward to over the coming months.

A new Bavarian-inspired beer hall is opening in London this summer.

Camden Town Brewery has given its bar in Kentish Town a makeover and the new venue, called Camden Beer Hall, is set to open its doors in June on Wilkin Street Mews.

The venue will feature both indoor and outdoor seating and have 24 taps on the bar with varieties freshly brewed on site, alongside exclusive small batch beers that ‘can’t be found anywhere else in London.’

But drinks aren’t the only thing to look forward to.

Organisers have teamed up with chef Theo Randall and he has created a menu of small dishes and sharing platters that perfectly complement the German beer hall theme.

Jasper Cuppaidge, the brewery’s founder, said: ‘It made sense to have our great friend and great chef Theo Randall create the menu and look after the kitchen for us, championing fresh ingredients in a way that is the perfect accompaniment to our beer.

‘It will be the best beer experience in the city and we can’t wait for beer lovers to see what we’ve been up to when we fling open the doors.’

The new site will be three times larger than the original brewery bar and bookings for tables and tours can be made from June 7.

If you’re looking for more things to try in the capital, one rooftop bar is hosting bottomless brunch events every weekend, now outdoor hospitality has resumed.

Likewise, a new drive-thru barbecue restaurant launched earlier this month on Chiswick Pavillion. So you can get smoked brisket, buffalo wings, fried chicken and other BBQ treats delivered to your car.
