You can now get paid £60 to SLEEP as a firm is looking for a bed tester – and you get to work from home

A LUXURY homeware brand is looking to pay someone £60 an hour to test out their range of beds – and it’s the perfect working from home job.

Olivia’s is looking for a professional bed tester – called a ‘comfort connoisseur’ – to try out their range of beds and daybeds from the comfort of their own home.

Describing the role, Olivia’s said: “It’s certainly not like any other job, because essentially our Comfort Connoisseur will be paid to sleep in luxury beds and daybeds, and feedback to us on their experience.”

After seeing a surge in orders due to the lockdown, Olivia's is looking for someone to give them feedback on ‘comfort, size, aesthetic and durability’.

The lucky candidate will need to provide written feedback on each bed, and they’re expected to review two beds a month.

The comfort connoisseur will be contracted to work 10 hours a month, with the possibility of overtime – and they’re looking to fill the position as soon as possible.

Entry requirements

  • No previous experience or qualifications
  • Must be able to accept deliveries
  • Must have a space available (like a spare bedroom) for the beds to be put as well as an outdoor area for the daybeds
  • Must be 18 years old +
  • Good writing skills
  • Self starter with impeccable taste and an eye for detail
  • No sleep conditions such as sleep apnoea

If you’re looking to apply, you need to be over 18 with a spare room where the beds can be assembled, as well as a garden for the daybeds.

You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications for the role, which closes on May 29, but you must have good writing skills.

Olivia’s will deliver each piece of furniture to your door, in keeping with social distancing regulations, and they’ll assemble it if needed.

It’s certainly not like any other job

In order to be considered for the role, you need to have no sleep conditions, such as sleep apnoea, and be able to accept deliveries.

Nick Moutter. founder of Olivia’s, said, “From the very beginning my vision for Olivia’s has been centred around offering our customers the best possible experience, which is why we invest so heavily in the customer journey.
