THE girl with the longest hair on a teenager has revealed that her 190cm mane takes an hour to brush daily.

Nilanshi Patel gets nicknamed 'Rapunzel' by her pals but loves her long locks and considers them a "blessing."

The 17-year-old and her impressive 190cm mane have scooped the coveted Guinness World Record of 'Longest hair on a teenager' for the second time.

And she even managed to beat her previous record of 170.5 cm long hair from November 21, 2018.

But she's not stopping there, the teen, who started growing her hair at just six-years-old, hopes to one day scoop the prize of longest hair on an adult.

Nilanshi certainly puts in a lot of elbow work to ensure her famous mane stays thick and healthy.

But what does it take to maintain her luscious locks?

Well, Nilanshi sticks to a strict routine to keep on top of her mane.

She only washes her hair once a week as it takes up to half an hour to dry – and an additional hour to comb!

And she carefully applies a secret homemade oil concocted by her mother – which we're all dying to find out!

Nilanshi revealed that to manage all her locks, she usually wears her hair in a braid or a bun.

But when she does on rare occasion wear it down, her hair is longer than she is tall – that's long enough to trip on!

She revealed that her family and friends are proud of her – so much so that they call her their 'real-life Rapunzel.'

The teen considers her hair to be so intrinsic to her that she considers it a "body part" and admits to feeling "very proud and blessed" to occupy the world title.
