A WOMAN has shared a savvy tip to make putting your Christmas tree away quicker.

Saving YOU some much needed rest time at the end of year.

Using only a mattress bag – a HUGE plastic bag that is large enough to protect and transport something as large as a mattress – which can have many other uses.

Sharing on Tiktok, Amy Foster has found an ingenious use for the mattress bag and it is super festive too.

Once Christmas is over, simply cover your stunning tree in the plastic bag and transport it to where you store your Christmas things.

This also keeps the dust off the tree and will have it ready to go next Christmas.

This trick only works on fake trees as on real trees the needles drop eventually and you would be left with a bag full of pine needles and a bare tree.

Storing your tree in the bag also means that next year when you get it out to celebrate again, you save precious time spent decorating.
